Ya, Tubi had some back in the day...with lights and all but those are long gone. Let me know if you know a source for these or someone who can fabricate some good looking ones, not something that looks like it was made by a child.

A wonderful contribution. Do you want to drive top speed with the F355? I drive with my up to 310 km / h. Firstly, you would have had to measure every single wheel load at the start of the project. Then a total list of all changes with the weight changes. I have concerns that the front of the F355 is too easy and can not be compensated by a front spoiler. Then the lighter F355 becomes life-threatening at Top Speed. The weight changes can make the whole car out of balance. A mid-range car is extremely vulnerable to a too light front. There are many accidents in Germany with the F355 GTS without the Targa roof on the highway happened. Without the Targa roof, the aerodynamics no longer agrees at high speeds. The challenge was translated ...

 

Tim that's interesting. Perhaps someone who's run the challenge cars and made the mods from Oem to GT along the way can shine some light on this. I've seen very aggressive front spoiler lips and bigger wings then the oem 355 Challenge ones and have read these to woke better for the 355, albeit on modded ones with improved HP numbers. I've heard the F430 GT wing is better suited for rear downforce on the 355 vs the OEM 355 Challenge wing. The GT front bumper shown above, on the orange car, is also a lot better for front downforce according to those who have/still do run it.

If anyone on here has run this setup and can chime in it would be very good info... Otherwise it's trial and error lol

 

Did your bumper come with fog mounts? My challenge bumper never did.

The aerodynamics of the F355 is not so easy to understand.
On the picture is an explanation. So I am happy to have got the Imola Spoiler. I will try to improve the air channels some what by glass fiber strips.

My seats are very light and easy move in, wonderful comfort for long driving!

I have been running my Li ion battery for three years without a problem.

It's on a Li ion battery tender when not in use.

I'm thankful to the early adopters willing to take the risks. You guys are sacrificing to improve the technology for the rest of us.

 

This should be easily fixed with the adjustable spring perches, just return the car to factory (or challenge) ride heights.

Also note: the whole underbody aerodynamics is based on air flowing UNDER the car in the central air channel. The spoilers cut off the underbody flow and reduce the downforce on the rear of the car.

With the adjustment of the springs, I get not more contact pressure in the front. In Germany we are really fast.
The Frontspoiler lets the air through. There remains a gap.
Interesting would be if it more pressure pressure front leads, the air to the front wheelhouses to lead more quickly to the outside as with the LaFerrari. Also copy the hump front of LaFerrari. But there are no pictures of it. The Speciale also has a hump.
