    What a pity.

One of the true characters of the business.

Anyone who could get A.J. Foyt and Hurley Haywood to drive in the same
car must have had something going on.

Never met him, but had a great deal of respect for him. Still have the book on 06885.

Oh, so sad. The last time I saw him, he was standing next to his 275 (one off) at Cavallino. Sitting atop the beauty was his coffee cup. I didn't really know who he was, but I knew immediately he was the owner. No one else would've done such a thing. RIP, Mr. Henn.

Yes, that's the Preston Henn I will remember. Since I only ever met him at track events, I honestly don't think I ever saw him without his racing suit.

You have to feel at least a little pang of jealousy for someone who was able to enjoy his passion so fully, for so long. I only hope to do half as well. If that.

Great guy - that 24 is rumored to be worth $100,000,000

The rumors are that he turned down offers approaching that number.

The first time I saw the 275 GTB Competizione, he was running it at a club event at
Sebring in the early '00s. Running it doesn't do it justice, he was flogging that car
all day long and it made a beautiful noise all the way around the track.

What becomes of the collection remains to be seen. Certainly, speculation is flying.

Who would put there precious Ferraris on display at a flea market? He, he would. Sure glad he did as I spent many hours staring at them. RIP

I sincerely hope the collection isn't broken up and that it stays on public display for many to enjoy. I've always wanted to see all those cars together...seeing them split up and hidden in a private collection somewhere wouldn't be nice. :(

To say he was a character is an understatement: a larger than life figure for sure
