I know what a badass! 35 years retired and he still stuck it to the Iggles.
Pearson was funny. He embraced the moment. All of the Eagles fans I know (and I knew about 20 who were there that night) loved it and thought he was great. The Philly draft has catapulted this event...as someone said, more people stood outside in Philly for the draft than can attend ANY Superbowl. Plus, the people at the draft are FANS...most SB attendees, as we know, are corporate mopes. And, once again, Philly lovers and followers prove they are the classiest, kindest, and most knowledgeable football fans in the history of the world.
Dammit Steve stop it! You're ruining the image of the Eagle fan with all these courteous remarks. 😜
Draft this year was good. Great energy from the audience. First round is weak link IMO, it seemed interminable. T
Mark. I really mean it! I want the NFC East to regain its rightful place as THE best conference division. It has the oldest, best, and most competitive team rivalries. I hope that all four teams get through the year without major injury. I want the two soph QBs to shine. Tom C will tell you a few years back I even wished for the Redskins to get more competitive, the Division is better when they are. And it's Keith, not Steve! Steve left the building.
Sorry Keith I posted late without my glasses lol... Yes the ol' NFC East was always the "war daddy" () of the league and I too wish for it to have its luster back. As long as Dallas remains at the top of course....
There are going to be some great cross - conference games this year with NFC East playing AFC West. In 2021 the Eagles will be playing Oakland in the new Las Vegas stadium and I am trying to lock my tickets up. My brother lives in LAS and we are considering 2 PSLs when they are offered. Eagles-Chiefs at KC week 2 this September should be a dandy, especially after the Eagles soar over the 'Skins week 1.
Several pundits agree with you... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000804945/article/teams-that-improved-the-most-after-the-2017-nfl-draft http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000805468/article/2017-nfl-draft-patriots-lead-top-7-undrafted-free-agent-classes T
And, they LOVE my 'boys! I'll just leave this here. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000806121/article/cowboys-were-champions-of-moving-merchandise T
Loved enough for folks to reach into their wallets for Cowboys clothing, gadgets, gizmos, etc. I can't imagine all those folks are buying that stuff to make effigies of Jerry moves for burning. [emoji6] But, I'm sure that like the Patriots, there are legions of fans who hate the Cowboys. T
Yes and I am one of them Go Lions! Funny thing my wife was in Michigan (a ways outside of Detroit) a while back as said that merchandise for the Lions was hard to find..........I can't imagine that but she was looking to bring stuff back for me. Cowgirls stuff is everywhere.
But, the Patriots led the league in the only merchandise sales that matter.... Superbowl champion hats, shirts, banners, etc...
Don't look know but Eagles just added another big talent. Offense and defense both strengthened (except for CB). Their thinking is get enough pass rush, who needs top flight corners?
