Guy's very talented. His time, his money, his house. However, this is old news.

I am not a big kit car fan, but that car is beautiful......and the windows go all the way down too :)

Yeah I agree... it's a kit car, but the guy deserves credit for the craftsmanship! He should get himself a job at a restoration shop and put the talent to use!

Wonder where the car is now?

This must be the most repeatable article ever! However it's always a pleasure to read it!

Most surprising is that a local pastor purchased the car (for $67K in 2008!)

    Impressive build quality...

I think the important aspect of this project is that it is NOT a kit car. Anyone can bolt or glue together a pre-manufactured kit of parts. This is a scratch built vehicle and, as you say, exhibits an enormous amount of skill and dedication.

Sorry, I used the wrong word... not a kit-car: A replica.

I'm impressed someone can work on a car for 17 years and keep the motivation. After a year I wanna know when does the work ends!

The basement aspect of the story and build quality seems impressive, but I don't get using the Lamborghini badges let alone calling it a Lamborghini. If he bought a salvaged one and rebuilt 90% of it from scratch, that's one thing but none of this is Lamborghini.
