Looks like you got some of it and you can fabricate what you don't have to look period correct. Those are lame cages but if you want authentic that's it. You got the most important part with the labels.

Yes, that is period correct 348

But without seeing all pieces individually, you may be missing the front support posts.

Here's what it should look like with all pieces assembled, although this 348 Challenge cage doesn't have the door bars or their connectors (connectors easily obtained from OMP) on the front and rear posts. Looks like in your pic the door bars are taped to the roof x-piece. Can't tell from the pic but the piece that goes across the top of the windshield might be taped in there as well. So based on your pics you still need the front/side support posts as Robb indicated and you will need to ensure the top of the windshield piece is included.

I don't think the oem 348 Challenge cage came stock with the door bars and connectors included. At least the cage that I owned didn't come with those pieces. I believe the door bars and connectors were a separate "kit.

To the op . . . . my cage also had a label with some sort of cautionary legalese. The label was worn and unfortunately I didn't save any pics as I sold the car (w/cage) over 2 yrs ago. Maybe someone else has a pic?

Mark, you're correct. The door bars and connectors had to be ordered separately.

I've owned two 348CH cars, one with the side impact bars/connectors (#98791) and one without (#94285). The earlier car had the warning sticker- I have a picture of it somewhere and will post it if I can find it, but the gist of it was that no Challenge car could be returned to street use without having all of its road equipment (re)installed by a dealer.

That's the one! Thanks for posting Ira.

When I had the roll cage, this sticker was even more worn than yours. Some of the text was worn to the point of being illegible. Subsequent owner had the paint stripped and the cage powder coated. I don't know if he ever had this sticker reproduced but he's a stickler for detail, so probably did.

    You're welcome!
I too considered having the sticker copied, but decided that it wasn't sufficiently important to me since they were (supposed to be) added to the cage by the dealer when they finished the race prep, not glued on by OMP when they made it.
