What was your first Ferrari ?

82 512BBi red/black bought it July 2002 - took me a year to find the right one.

 

'96 355 GTS black/black....owned it for a month in late '97 before traded it in for 60-miles old F355 F1 black/tan.

Now, I am stuck with 512TR, again black/black....this is not intentionally chosen. It just happened that whenever I was in the market for F-car, I got the black one...

Bought my '82 308 GTSi back in '00, with 32k miles and put only 7k miles on her in 3 years. Then I got my current '91 TR with 11k miles back in march '03. TR now has 26k miles, and is driven daily (Spring, Summer and Fall).

My first was a Berlinetta Lusso. I'd seen one in the paddock at Riverside Raceway. I believe it belonged to the actress Jill St. John. I enjoyed the car very much and used it as a daily driver. Two years later, I sold it and bought a 250GTO, which I also used as a daily driver.

 

'89 328 -still my first.

 

81 308 GTSi chop top, excuse me, barchetta.Traded it for a BBi/LM project car. Still in the project phase after 10 yrs.

 

1977 308 GTB. Traded in for a Mondial 8 because I thought I could use the 2+2. Still kick myself for parting with the "B;" Azurro California with 25,466 miles. Beautiful.

Now completing a purchase for a 1981 308 GTSi (thank you, Susan and Jerry ). I will keep her for a long time. The question is if she'll keep me...btw, her name will be Rochelle and she'll tell tales about "her strange erotic journey from Milan to Minsk"....err Dallas to Boise.

 

Bought it 4 years ago and still have it, beautiful car, I am thinking of adding a CS or a 430, can't make up my mind

 

I have the car now. Still in Dino Rosso (orange). Did it have Porsche seats in it when you owned it?

1955 500 Mondial Series II, next month will have had it for 57 years.
