    I picked up a couple of items this week and wanted to share but didnt find the spot to post. So i figured i would start one! if this already exists lets merge and i apologize for lack of search.

    Herpa 1/200 Lufthansa 747 in original box. I feel like i stole this with the price.

    Also found this cheap model airplane which i was super cool! Its old livery with a plane we dont flt antmore and its metal!

    A piece of thr Gimli glider.

    I've got a pair of these: Spitfire cufflinks that were made from Duralumin from a 1940 Spitfire. They're great conversation pieces in meetings

    I was in New York a few weeks ago, at a flea market, and there was a guy selling old menus. By far the coolest one was a BOAC menu from the late 1960s, for their New York service. I wish I had bought it...

    Makes me want to have a martini and a cigarette right now.

    What I see in this menu art is the new medium in art, acrylics. The streaky washes in the background with opaque overlays and crisp delineations in the modeling of shapes. Nice looking menu and too bad that you didn't buy it.
