Will let you know soon which one will be the first race! Still in talks #F1 #f1comeback #comebackstronger
He didn't cost Ferrari anything; he was the innocent party in a set of circumstances, not the willing actor in a plot.
Glock was simply overtaken by Hamilton in the last lap. There was no conspiracy between MCLaren and Toyota. Nothing like the Singaporegate!!!!
He did not pit and therefore was in front of Hamilton after Lewis pit stop but he could not keep the place on slicks in the wet...He was never intended to finish in front, he gambled and still gained some positions against others...When does this "he let him past" finally stop, it simply is not true...If he pitted like all the others he would have never been in that position
It was just like how massa recently let Bottas through. No resistance no nothing. Just pass on through.
If a driver on slicks in the rain gets caught up by someone on fresh rain tyres, resistance is futile, IMO. In any case, it was not up to Glock to secure the championship for Massa, was it?? I just think you make an unfair accusation against Glock.
With statistics of ... 91 Grands Prix 1 Fastest Lap (1.10%) 3 Podiums (3.30 %) 17 Retirements (18.68 %) ... his F1 career is well and truly over.
MAY 10, 2017 No F1 return for Glock Timo Glock has admitted that hinting he is set to return to formula one was a "joke". The German contested almost 100 grands prix for Jordan, Toyota and Marussia, but since 2013 has been a works BMW driver in the German touring car series DTM. This week, some reporters became excited when the 35-year-old wrote on social media that he did a seat fitting with a F1 team. "Will let you know soon which will be the first race!" Glock added as the caption to a photo depicting him sitting in a single seater-style cockpit. But it quickly emerged that Glock was actually not doing a F1 seat fitting, but simply at the wheel of a single seater simulator. He told German media that his social media post had simply been a "bit of a joke". "I will not replace anyone anywhere," Glock clarified. "This took off like a rocket! Lots of fans saw it's not a seat fit. I am the happiest guy being able to drive DTM for BMW with such a great partner like Deutsche Post, so don't worry."
