New toy arrived from out of state and want a simple/trusted state inspection place. Car is brand new, so easy.

Looking for North Austin up to Georgetown somewhere.

    Thanks.

PS - I did read of that gas station in Lakeway, but too far from me.

I take mine to the dealer that services my daily driver (Audi North). Since they handle my S4, they're happy to handle the 355 as well. They let me drive it in, they don't move it, etc. They just make sure it passes OBD, etc.

With any luck this legislative session will toss the stupid safety inspections. There are only 11 states still doing it. Then I won't have to bring the Italian cars in for anything.

Never mind. It passed a week ago.....U Ra.

Supposed to take effect March 1.

Politicians are like broken clocks I guess.

And let's hope we can toss the front plates in the same trash can.

So, annual inspection is gone?!? I suspect they'll still want my dough though.

They can have the 8 dollars or whatever. It was really a stupid idea from the outset.

They will charge double for front license plates moving forward to make up for lost income ;-)

Haha. I'd pay double for NO front plate.
