Haha, I had the same thought. We gotta move it in the other direction. That price is riduculous! I would probably give them 60k today just because I'm feeling generous
If anyone is considering this car, I would strongly suggest you see it in person to be sure its as advertised and meets your expectations. I live close to WW and they were selling a "stunning, LOW mileage (10k/mi) example of a 1991 348, maintained by the meticulous former owner with a recent $27,000 service." This was in 2014 and the advertised price was $64,900, so my expectations were high. In the ten minutes I spent looking the car over, this is what I discovered: A poor repaint with overspray lines on the rubber seals of the hood as well as multiple fisheyes. Valve covers were orange, not the traditional red they are usually painted. There was a leak under the pumpkin on the showroom floor. The interior was gray instead of black as it was bleached and dried from the sun. Carbon fiber panels inside the car that looked cheap and were peeling. The lower corners of the front and rear wind screens were separating. Caveat Emptor!
Well I know nothing about this car. When buying my car, luckily another fchat person had driven it and gave me the real information as I wasn't able to see it in person. Mine had a major within 2 years prior and in my opinion to get this to a B+ car (an A+ would be flawless off the new showroom floor) it will take about $10,000. Everything was minor but added up. New tires needed, sure they were 9/10ths but they were 10 years old, funny, that wasn't mentioned on the phone or in the ad. Missing parts, broken parts, leaky tire, oil drip, ripped CV boot (very obvious). Ferrari dealer that was a 3rd party and did the PPI said the car was in perfect shape. (noted the drip though). Have a well schooled 355 friend look at it or do it yourself. love to see pics. who ever buys it should see what if anything needs fixing and pay accordingly.

Decided to finally let go of my 96' F355 Berlinetta 6 speed yellow (see classifieds). I can't justify keeping all the cars I have so this is an opportunity at a great car for not much money.
Sorry, forgot to include the ad: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/551619-1996-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-6-speed-manual.html
Drool...... www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/701421931/overview/ He listed it. someone is going to get an amazing car! Edit: why is the link going to some random website??
Not sure why that takes you to some strange link... Just search the cars.com front page under 355. The Discovery Channel Challenge Car is now also on Hemmings, Ebay, Cars.com, Winding Road Racing Robb
Because Cars.com was a free ad, you have to click on "skip these deals & continue to cars.com" to see the car ad. Robb
It takes me directly to the car. Have you opted out of the F-chats new Vigilink crap yet? If you haven't every link on here will take you to the Vigilink page with "similar" things and never to the actual link. It's a f chat money making deal. If you click a link and it takes you to a Vigilink page scroll down to the bottom and there will be a tab that says "why am I seeing this" click it and it will explain it it also gives you a route to opt out so the links actually take you where they are supposed to.
Looks like the Wide World that disappeared from their site a couple weeks ago is now at Top Gear for $85k as well. No pics of the engine. Looks like a nice car. 1995 Ferrari 355
Alex - looks to be a pretty nice car with rare spare tire. 1-owner, some sticky parts but all and all looks very nice. Priced well - I don't expect to see this one last long...
My former 355 Spider is for sale and nearby if anyone has any interest. I can provide lots of background if needed. 1996 Ferrari 355 | eBay
Well, apparently it didn't sell for $45K; it's back on eBay with the same seller, again on no reserve auction. Does anyone know why the sale didn't go through? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-Ferrari-355-F355-SPYDER-/311878268100?hash=item489d64b4c4:g:434AAOSw4CFY4ajG&vxp=mtr
