Maybe I'm unusual but I have never had an F1 problem with any of the six or so that I have owned

I have a 2008 GT. Love it. It's my good weather DD. They depreciate like pigs. Costs big $$$ to refinish the sticky parts (ask me how I know :) )

I did consider a 2009 F1 last year. Had 11K miles and could have gotten it for around $57K but the dealer (or salesman) was less then attentive.

    After a second thought, I don't think I'd want the F1 for a DD (I have a 355 F1 that I love).

I've now got 46K miles on my 2008 - I do about 10K per season.

    Very.

I had a rusted dip stick in dip stick tube (common issue). I bought a new dip stick and tube and fixed myself but I have a lift. A few hour, awkward job.

I had a small trans fluid leak - diagnosed and bought parts but did not have time to get to it so I had Scuderia Performante take care of it and align the car as they eat tires. My HVAC panel seems to have some quirks.

I haven't had a problem either, but for a DD for the average commuter the hydraulic transmission is a far better option.
