Im not talking a £10k exhaust or £5k carbon splitter im talking button money mods but make a massive difference....

Ive done three which to me have transformed the car....

Roof open and close from the key and while driving £250 - use it every time i go out in the car great invention 9/10

Wma1000 bluetooth module £90 on ebay - but means i can turn on youtube and listen to my playlist on there streaming from my phone - 10/10

Capristo remove exhaust valve controller - changes the cars characheter and makes stock exhaust sound good. £350 11/10

Dont get me wrong my wheels and lowering are great (but expensive) mods but the bestfor me have been the cheap ones....

Just trying to see what other cheap but deliver lots mods there are out there .....

Not necessary "cheap" but the front bumper, hood, and front fenders protected by clear wrap.

    Its saved me a lot.

The car became faster, or just louder with race cats?

Without a doubt, exhaust valve controller. Cheapest mod with biggest result. Many other good mentions above.

lowest cost = leave the car alone

biggest delivering = leave the car alone

Almost everything you do to these cars makes them less desirable. If you spend enough money you may create a mess.

    Have fun!

Bypassing the exhaust valves ... technician made it so that I could manually reconnect them , which I have never done.

    $150.00

Other than adding clear shield like the mayor suggested above that's about it

I like to leave them as they were designed ...,by those ....in the know

The c.f. extended shift paddles are a *must* have; I'm surprised no one has mentioned them yet.

The original paddles (no matter standard or carbon) only extend upside - i.e. with wheel turned right (so left hand moved up) you can easily grab the downshift paddle, and with wheel turned left (right hand moved up) you can easily grab the upshift paddle...
The extended paddles are also extended to the bottom so that you can grab the paddle with the hand that's moved down.
Not sure I am clear, you can have a look at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/458-italia-488/530824-carbonio-488-extended-carbon-fiber-shift-paddles-here.html
(that's for the 488 but the same exist for 458)

Clear wrap and Forza exhaust controller. If you pin the valves open instead, be prepared to get tired of the increased sound on long drives.

No other mods. Most mods will kill the resale value, so if you do them, recognize you best remove them before trying to sell the car. (There are some exceptions, like some carbon fiber trim pieces, but things like lowering springs may turn off prospects.).

Most don't remove them later, but figure they can bargain with the buyer one way or the other. Then they wonder why their cars sit on the market forever or prospects lowball them.

-Clear wrap to prevent rock chips.
-some sort of exhaust work. I've heard stock 458s and modded ones. There's no comparison.
    - novitec springs and spacers. Or just springs and wheels. The stock wheelgap makes it look like a 4x4.
