Are those F40 seats or SS seats? I ask because I'm unsure as to whether the F40 seats would have 2 rectangular cutouts on 1 side of each seat. I know that my F40 seats only have 1 rectangular cutout on each side of each seat. Not that it's a big difference, but just asking.

I was informed by the seller that it was F40.

Extra cutout would be for mouse track belts (automatic seatbelt restraint). F40's didn't have the mouse belts, but 348 SS cars did. Not an expert, but I question whether the seats are from a F40 rather than a 348 SS.

Are your seats from a euro car? I thought US cars had the mouse belts.

Fair point. My understanding from previous owner is that mine are Canadian market seats. I imagine that they're no different than European market.

Fwiw, my seat does have a date code on a manufacturer's label dated 1991 if I recall correctly, which predates the 348 SS cars. The seats are currently installed otherwise I'd post a pic.

Regardless, great seats and worth a small ransom.

US F40's did have mouse track seat belts, I removed the mouse on my F40...

The seats are worth less than you may expect, I just sold a set of US NOS seats for $4,200.00. These are the exact same seat as 348 Speciale, of course the Speciale seats are in leather.

The euro F40 seats are worth more, but the US seats are actually more comfortable, I had both sets in my F40.

Thank you all for your input and your interest.

Seller sold the seats to the first buyer and money has exchanged hands.

Mods, please change status to "Sold" Thanks.

Interesting. Any idea why the US seats are more comfortable?

Congrats to the buyer & seller.

As an aside, I want the Ferrari artwork hanging behind the seats. That's cool.

Old thread but the US Seats are more comfy imo because they have adjustable backs and give shoulder room.
