This person trained every Alfa salesmen in America. But to answer your question, it would not surprise me if they made this change at the next model year. LED's are more efficient.

I had the Giulia predecessor a 159. It had the Bose upgrade and did sound rather good. Not sure what is going with Alfa in the Giulia. I have heard it said by folk here on a UK based Alfa site I use that the upgraded system is not worth the cost.

I have swapped that 2006 Alfa for a 2004/5 (December car) Mercedes CLK. The standard sound system in that matches the Bose in my old 159 Lusso. Go figure.

😂 You are right LED's are more efficient and more special, I think Alfa should have an iconic LED Headlamps design, like the BMW and Volvo's, so when you look at you know this is Alfa Romeo :)

You mean next model year in 2018? That makes sense to me :) And what will be the next new model from Alfa in 2018?

The Stelvio in 2018 and a Giulia with new headlights and maybe a new 350hp Hybrid Veloce Giulia!!!! I have now seen 3 customer Giulia's on the street in the Chicago area. It took until early May.

I mean that the new lights won't be on Giulia Model Year 2018 (due later this year), but will come in a further model year. 350hp version isn't in the MY18 product grid either, so far.

MY18 US grid looks like this:

No hybrid....That's to bad. They are probably to busy working on more SUV's...Does Maserati have anything other than the GranTurismo refresh?? The good Maserati is on hold (Alfieri Coupe)!!

The 350hp is coming. I just have no info suggesting it will be for MY18.

The team responsible for the new Alfas is also working on future Maserati products.

Does anyone have any feedback on the CC brakes vs standard?

I heard that they are especially grabby and hard to modulate until you get used to them due to the brake by electronic wire system.

Maybe something a future software flash could fix...

most of the inventory in the US has the CCB, very few with the standard brakes.

Yes it's the new "Veloce" version -- and a 2 door coupe and convertible coming as well. I'd like the 2dr coupe, especially if it looks a bit better from the rear. The Stelvio definitely has a better looking backside than the Giulia 4 door.

Alfa is doing a pretty good job of holding back on excessive QF inventory in the market. But for sure they will drop. I had the same idea but I'd still like a coupe over a 4 door.

as far as the brakes I was just at MMC and I have the standard steel brakes...they held up surprisingly well...pushed the car hard to see where the limits would be...ran 4 laps no pushing just to get a feel....then 4 laps pushing hard.....brakes & Corsas were just fine...
if I was doing something extended....I'd address the pads perhaps...but so far so good...
as far as what Quads are around & how they are optioned...yes it would seem that dealers have loaded them up with CCBs....used to be a $5500 option now its $8k or there abouts...though supposedly people who ordered Quads prior to the price increase did not pay it...

Was able to test drive a Giulia TI yesterday and was seriously impressed. The steering, handling and ride are top tier, better than the typical choices. The engine is extremely responsive in dynamic and I wasn't able to notice any lag. The driving position is also spot on.

You really do feel like one with the car, the way the steering inputs and overall chassis tuning respond is refreshing. I can only imagine the Quadrifoglio.

Pity the lease programs in Canada are absolute garbage.

    48 months, 16km per year, 0 down = 916$ tax in..........lol.........no comment.

I've had my Quadrifoglio for 2 months now and have pretty much stopped driving any of my other cars (Lusso aside). Alfa did an amazing job with this car!

How many are being leased vs "bought"?

I'm seriously tempted by this car but, don't want to take a huge hit on depreciation which FCA products are known for.

The 50 or so that dealer has sold so far have been mostly purchased because the residuals are so poor. I'd wait for my18 which will have improved tech and LEDs. Residuals should also be better

If the quality is there residuals will climb; only time will tell.
