Great race for Fezzas, terrible shame it wasn't Ice, truly crushing, well done Desi! Nice job Saints !

 

Great result but I loath how Ferrari royaled Kimi. He had zero need to stop for tires when he did.

 

He should have driven faster. His pace clearly slowed. He was in front so it's his his choice to pit when he did. I wanted him to win actually but he didn't have it in him for the whole race.

 

He asked to pit on the radio

 

1-2, couldnt be better and no merc on podium makes it even better

They didn't stuff Kimi, unfortunately as the lead driver, he was always going to react and pit once bottas did, vettel was simply clever enough to keep his tyres alive enough to smash in some stonking laps before his own stop, it happens.

 

He looks like he needs a drink. lol

 

They were mirroring Bottas who they saw as the threat. It's standard practice to mirror the stop of the guy behind at monaco. James Allen mentioned it in his blog this week.

 

Feel bad for him though. After yesterday he was on cloud 9 and he got a good start

Yea he's definitely chapped right now. Hopefully he wants another year or he could be a royal pain in the ass for the rest of the season.

 

I watched the whole race on Unimas and it was wonderful! No ads. No stupid cutaways. No pointless montages. No stupid comments (at least that I could understand [emoji3]) and no diffey. NBC lost me as a viewer.

 

Good question from that handsome devil with the microphone.

I wonder how many people bemoaning Kimi not winning today, will be celebrating a Vettel WDC if he wins by only a couple points from Hamilton at the end of the season? - Or would they rather see Kimi win today, and Seb loose the WDC?

Points in the bag is what counts towards the WDC, Kimi isn't in the race for the WDC, Seb is, so Kimi loosing today maybe the difference!

If Kimi drove fast enough before his pitstop, then he would have been on the top step today! He called for the earlier stop, he drove too slowly, he got it wrong -Seb didn't!
