F430 brake pad replacement options EBC or Formuladynamics ? Hawk

did a search and couldnt find anything related to pad options-

OE is about $600 from ricambi- it also appears the 360 uses same rear pads but different fronts

i was hoping to find the same braking with less dust- my rotors are fine and this car wont see track days at all

i found a thread from 2011 a company called formula dynamics posted here but not one reply.

EBC redstuff anyone used? Hawk HPS ? mine are at 20% and want to replace them all

 

I have EBC RedStuff on my 360 Spider. "Lowest dust" as advertised: NOT!

 

Hawk are garbage.

 

i couldnt even find a hawk part # for a F430 fronts anyway--

so the EBC low dust was it less than OEM - the same or worse? as my stock ones pretty well have to clean the front wheels after one drive

never heard of them and found a 9 year old thread but no one tried them ?

theyre within a half hour of me too..

 

Lots of good pads available for 430s. Hawk HP Plus and Street-Race, Porterfield R4-S, StopTech Sports...

It's comparable to OEM.

 

I had good luck with Porterfield R4S on my F355. Produced about half the dust of the factory pads. Were quiet, and worked fine for "spirited" driving in the mountains. I never tracked the car.

Most low dust pads have a compromise in performance (at least in my experience). These had about half as much dust, but appeared to perform equal to the oem pads, at least in street use.
