I think it was DavidJames1 (he with the keen eye for color and design) who first came up with a suitable moniker for Tim's tdF paint color> Blue Traveller

INCREDIBLE thread. Thank you so much for sharing it completely brightened my week.

It has been said but it is an incredibly well thought out spec.

Crazy how the Italian sun and the UK clouds make the color look different...

There are many lovely specs, but this is my favorite TDF spec so far. Wow! Congratulations Tim!

For general consumption probably not. However I am guessing Ferrari had something different and less dramatic printed on the paint sticker....

On holiday from working, so I could read the full thread.

Fantastic from start to finish. Absolutely love the spec of your TDF, simply amazing.

Off to find the F40 thread.

Hey Tim. Like many others just got through all 19 pages and tbh after page 9 I actually forgot that this was initially about Casa Ferrari! The first look at the car blew me away. Mind blowing.

I love the exterior colour. I think it looks perfect. You hit the nail on the head. But what you have done on the interior with the sheepskin is unique and puts this car into another league. Great choice and hope to see it in the "flesh" one day. (Like what I did there?)

Btw don't think anyone figured out your plate yet. Clever. Very subtle.

    Love it.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Yes, I do think the Pecora does give it a very special and individual look but especially feel as maybe you will see for yourself one day. Glad you get the reg plate-not for everyone!

Feeling better and better every GP about the sill signatures and just hope their success continues.

Yes it is and you can probably arrange through your dealer. Makes the $3,000 carbon cup holder look like a bargain......

    Hi Tim,
First, fantastic story and thank you for sharing.

I was discussing with a fellow f-chatter (-CD-) my options on a 812 and since I will include some Retro-Elements (wrinklepaint on ventsupports and the input-pods left and right of the wheel (no CF please :) ))

I am still considering different fabrics for the (race-)Seats, Christian told me you optioned Peccora on your seats (that look fantastic btw).

So my question is basically: how is it; how does it feel on hot weather, how is the wear and tear; does it "breathe" well; would you reorder it for the full seat or differentiate inner and outer lanes of the seats?

Thanks a lot in advance for any comment on this .

    Best regards,

    J

So, finally, what's on the paint tag ? It won't change the fact that you and us Fchatters decided that whatever Ferrari decided to call it, it will be called Blu Traveller here
