Hi I have some rust on the lower front wing section, I have noticed ferrari part 62065000 is described as a lower front wing covering. Has anyone attempted to replace the body panel? Is it bolt on, welded? Interested to know how easy it is to fit. Thanks

I haven't ever taken that off, but I think there is a spot weld that needs to get cut?

It looks like the fender is available with the lower section as one piece, so maybe I have the cut off the lower section and weld the new section on, but the whole fender may be better removed to do this first?

The fender is bolted on PLUS some welds (3 I believe).
The construction of the fender itself is spotwelded, so you will need to weld anyway.

Being as the RHS is the offside wing in the UK, I wonder if they're more prone to being damaged in collisions and so are in short supply, hence the higher price?

"NEW To Order Subject to Availability" on Eurospares usually means that they don't have any, and they do not know when (or if), they will have them in stock again (It would be worth contacting them, but I wouldn't get your hopes up!)

Maranello Classic Parts are showing them as being available: https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/Search.aspx?seo=95401152%2fA : £339.86 including VAT.
