You'll need to come to Cars & Coffee this coming Sunday at the corner of Central and McCord. They'll be a few of us Ferrari owners there. Good time.

I would advise leaving the car stock for a year before making any mods. In my first month I was all about making mods, thinking about everything I wanted to do. But I gave it time and eventually came to love and appreciate the experience Ferrari created for me.

The mods I kept: carbon fiber cupholder replacing ashtray, ferrari clarion stereo/nav system and radar detector. Kept the entire driving experience and look of the car stock and am glad I did. So many 360s have been modded that it may actually be more unique to have a stock one anyway.

IMHO challenge front and rear grills are a must for red cars. I'd say to yellow also. Adds MUCH contrast and style to rear end.

Also the stock exhaust needs to go. It's really heavy. Replacing it with a titanium set (best sound) you'll save a ton of weight. Choose to have valves if you don't want to wake up whole neighbourhood when cold starting.

Be careful when selecting the wheels for it. Many aftermarket wheels lower the price and make the car look less original. I went for original 19" scuderia wheels for my 360 and very happy about that decision.

If you lower your car, 20mm (less than an inch) is perfectly enough. More will get you into trouble.

    Hope this helped!

First thing with your exhaust, disconnect the valves, plug them (the rubber tubes) with a screw or golf tee and tuck them under the engine covers on this side. That will significantly change your exhaust note, until you can get an aftermarket. I have the Ferrari Challenge on mine that I love.

Challenge grill is mostly cosmetic, really changes the look of the car though IMO and has a benefit of allowing increased airflow.

BTW love your color combination, very elegant.

Was this car from Ferrari of Scottsdale? If so, I looked at it as well and seemed to be a solid buy with the lower miles (they had two at the time, this one and another with tan interior...one had 2x,000 miles and another with around 10K if I remember correctly). Enjoy it!!

Read the manual on the ASR light. It's the traction control. If you've never driven a high HP car it will kind of make you go "huh" when it kicks in. I didn't realize what was going on until I noticed the ASR light about the 3rd time it happened.

But I strongly suggest you leave the traction control on until you get used to driving the car under hard acceleration. Lots of folks have been caught out with it off.

    Awesome and thanks much.

What is better about the challenge front grill?

Does it really make much of an impact?

    Thanks again

    Agreed.

I'm not into mods and wanted to buy it all stock from the start.

The only thing I'm considering is the Tubi exhaust.

Now that I think about it, that ashtray is pretty useless and I wouldn't mind a cup holder hehe

    Thanks

    haha

I love the contrast that the challenge grill provides.

    That exhaust sounds freaking amazing.

Can it only be bought from the UK?

    Thanks

    That's the one.

I bought the 2003 and the other one had the challenge grill and was a 1999.

The PPI checked out really well so it I pulled the trigger.

I think I got a great deal on it also.

Most are selling for much higher.

    Thanks

Ya, they both sound great. Capristo has a raspy sound that some will/won't like.

I bought the carbonio cup holder - it looks great. drinks interfere with the parking brake a bit, but it's very usable. Major necessity for those of us who actually drive our cars.

I will say challenge rear grill is a nice touch and since it was available from the factory and was a fairly common upgrade, I don't think that ruins the stock experience. It's the one mod I still consider making and it's not very expensive either.

Personally, I like the sound of the stock exhaust. Just loud enough without being obnoxious.
