Because I owned a Ferrari V12 in the past and never even thought about doing this to my beloved car in any circumstance, I won't be speaking out of experience, but if I'm not mistaken I've read somewhere that Ferrari has the right to deny servicing a car that isn't being visually used the right way (pink cars with "Hello Kitty" stickers on them, etc).

Honestly don't know if this is a myth, but it certainly isn't a bad idea. Would serve as a major deterrent to owners doing this to their cars. I hope the pictures Mário posted are wraps for the most part: that would mean the lunacy can be reverted. If it is actual paint...

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Nuno, one color Ferrari has banned is Pink because as someone from the company said they don't deliver "Pokémon Ferraris!”. Owners who like pink have the option of receiving the car in another color and afterwards have it painted or wrapped.

The one Mário posted on post #58 is so ugly and weird, it even seems it has been involved in an accident!

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Nuno I've always been aware with the fact that taste is something very, very personnel and what for someone might be ugly for another can be extremely beautiful and that happens not only with cars. However using as reference for judgement my western aesthetics values I fully agree with you on post #58 car.

    Regards

    Mario

Tom thank you for providing the information about my other thread.

When I started this thread I was aware of the fact that earlier or later someone would get upset with the content. All the pictures I've posted here were selected from an universe of many hundreds of cars and IMO the ones published are the ones which can show to some extent what a F12 shouldn't be. Like I've mentioned before, taste is something very personnel and what one person finds ugly another might think is beautiful. However I'm convinced Ferraris are special cars and therefore pieces of automobile art which have been designed by great artists as is the case of Pininfarina. Like in an architectural building or any art work, my view is that owners must show a minimum of respect towards the original creations because they reflect the artists visions. That said, anyone can disagree with this perspective and I'm sure that there are owners which find the idea very silly because they will say they are free to do with their cars whatever they want. The pictures I've selected and posted despite of having no text can be seen as a pre-judgement of the cars, however the title of the thread is very straight forward and the final decision is left exclusively to the viewers.

It's the "Rivoluzione" done by the Crown Prince of Bad Taste Mr Mansory... a genius who sells beautiful cars by making them ugly for twice their original price !!

Dear Mister 11 posts, Like you should have noticed, this is not a serious thread, it's here to make fun of some cars that a vast majority of car enthusiats will find ugly.

    I don't own a F12, it doesn't prevent me to do so

why is there always a "Rabat-Joie" to waste fun moments

In french a "Rabat-joie" (Litterally Joy-Refodler) is a guy doing exactly what you did . An austere person wasting the fun of others.
