    DCMetro,

Yes my nero setoso GTO is still for sale at Ferrari of Long Island. For any serious buyers out there, I just dropped the price to $699,900. With approx. 3531 miles on her she is now the lowest priced US spec GTO for sale with that approximate mileage. Car is concours level condition and meticulously maintained. F of LI will offer power warranty on her also for peace of mind. I feel bad that pictures don't do the nero setoso color true justice. She is a spectacular stealthy spec. that really must be seen in person.

Yes 100% I will be acquiring another car. I wanted a TDF but a nicely optioned one with a $600K MSRP has an AP of $1.4M+ which is literally insane. Plus I really don't want a car anymore that becomes such a show that your afraid to drive her on public roads. Besides I'd never pay that kind of $$$ for a TDF. Wouldn't be shocked if went with another 458 (I miss mine) as it was nowhere near as much of a PITA to drive on public roads (458's are pretty common in Long Island NY) and nice 458's are a dime a dozen. I also have a deposit on a 6 speed 991.2 GT3 and hope to receive an allocation later this year at MSRP (although a GT3 is not even close to a replacement for the GTO). I even thought about trading the GTO for a low mileage Carrera GT at one point, but again, the CGT is more of a show piece than a DD type car. TDF would have been my #1 choice as I could have driven her for a couple of years in theory, dropped some miles on her, and then sold without taking a big hit. That ship has long since sailed. There are few, if any, alternatives to the GTO (at its current price point) and thats the bottom line.

Glad to hear you will still have something fun. The gt3 will be a nice alternative but as you said it's a nota GTO:). The 458 would be similar to the gt3 so there wouldn't be much point in having both. Maybe an f12 would be a great choice but there is still probably a lot of depreciation to go once the 812 is for sale at dealers.

One of the very few GTO delivered in Australia. Its first owner was a member here called Critini.

Obviously he changed his username since then...

Yes I know the car quite well. In fact I almost bought the car in Jan this year when it was up for sale in a Sydney dealership but could not agree on a price as the 1.4m AUD price tag was bit to much and there was something not right about it either

Would love to talk to the new owner if he is on here

    True that Mr Massini.

    :)

Thank you for the clarification! I always get confused with these two colours in the dark light. Avio is my favourite Ferrari blue colour.
