I've seen other photos much worst then this one. This photo angle isn't the less favorable because the rear section doesn't show much.

He might actually be ok as the wheels are "dark" and not "black-holes" lol

This car looks so weird in pictures. I really need to see one in the metal.

That seems to be true for most of their cars at the moment. There's something about their design language that doesn't photograph well. Luckily they all look stunning in the flesh so, hopefully, this one will be the same.

Stunning car. Great to see Ferrari reverting back to their old signature design feature of quad round tail lights. I like the stylish design but looks like same as F12. If you show both F12 and 812 both to a non-car person then I bet you it will be very difficult to that person for tell them which one is a new Ferrari model.

It looks like there is both an Argento and GT or might it be Ferro in the yard shot posted by TSOYBELLIS

Anyone know or want to guess what color metallic grey is the 812 in the first instagram , picture number 2, swipe to the left to see. (Not the Frankel instagram picture with a portly Shmee)

The 812 looks very nice in this grey -- maybe Grigio Titanio color!

CH made some silly and unsubstantiated claims a few years ago that got him into hot water. After that though he has been waxing lyricals about Ferraris (the cars) and i guess that got him back on the list of guests. Ferrari doesn't really need a single reviewer, they have dozens of mags who would kill for a test drive.

I see Grigio Alloy (the blueish grey), Argento Nurburgring, and Grigio Silverstone on the photo with Shmee.

    See my post above.

There was nothing in his article that hadn't already been touched upon by other testers at the time. Autocar even printed pictures contrasting the furious fettling of a Ferrari by a pit crew with a Porker sitting quietly unattended waiting to be tested. They chronicled the absolute fuss and faff surrounding the Ferrari and the unceremonious delivery of the Porker. The mistake Harris made was to write an article specifically calling out Ferrari on all that nonsense. He also understood full well what making a big Ferrari shaped hole in his output would do to him as a car journo, so there was little upside to his outpouring.

I don't believe so on the grigio alloy plus it would be a very odd launch colour. I do remember, when at TM, seeing a similar clean grey metallic which was as yet unnamed. maybe this is it, but to my it sits somewhere between Ferro and Silverstone, closer to Ferro, but very clean with no blue or brown. Its probably going to be MY colour once I establish what it is.

Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren just make sure that the test car is in top notch condition. Porsche does it too nowadays. Nothing fishy there; customer cars turn out similar numbers. CH just wanted to create some publicity for himself.

On the 599 I didn't understand it from the pics however didn't have any real negative feelings. I loved it in person and it's one of my favorite designs. The F12 was simply elegant that it was understood in pictures and also loved in person. The 812 S is really concerning me in the pictures the way other cars have not. It's so busy and cut up and seemingly non cohesive.
