They are now too short for my taste!!

Endurance races are now run like sprints.

Years ago, reliability was an issue, and drivers had to pace themselves not to break their car. Now they go flat out from lights-to-flag, and they have 3 men crews.

One of the best endurance race I remember was the Nurburgring 84 hours, also called The Road Marathon, in the 60s. Three and half days on the Green Hell !!!

    Agreed.

I think Toyota would have liked 23 3/4 last year, however.... :)

While having a pit walk. Many where talking about Porsche might quit LMP1 by the end of the season.
lol ACO needs to change rules quickly

No Lucas di Grassi for 51; broke his ankle.
    Replacement: Michele Rugolo
Not the best line-up for AF Corse's "51"
And there is more going on with Ferrari drivers....

I put my money on new Porsche 911

    Pier Guidi = Gold
    Rugolo = Gold

IMHO you need 3 Platinum drivers but I hope I am wrong.

The WeatherTech 488 will be carrying a Ferrari Club of America logo.

    Wishing them a successful race.

Anyone else having problems keeping Radio Le Mans going?

I am able to listen for about five minutes and then it just stops.

And watch Corvette....big GT2 class winning history
I wish Ferrari had the same number of victories; often bad luck, technical problems and thus DNFs.

However, Chevrolet has no overall wins. ;) Ferrari's third on the win list only behind Porsche and Audi. :)

Aaaahhhh.... Long ago I learned not to say "can't" or "never".... :)

(Fer instance, if GTE became the top class, Chevy would be in the hunt...;))
