not sure what to make of this beast. I know it should be epic but I just don't like the idea of water injecting the turbo from a separate tank. bmw uses it in m4gts and it was worst reviewed car I can remember so maybe its guilt by association.

so why go for this when plain gt3 is 500 hp screaming at 9000 rpm? turbo is heavier, sounds worse, and cant keep up its power for as long. and its probably another $100k over gt3. and then theres the 3 pedal option in the gt3 too.

beast yeah but good or bad? viper acr is a good beast in my opinion. record setting lap times with natural asp engine, stick, aero, track biased tires/brakes/suspension. all good there. this one, even if it sets lap records, not so sure?

 

Well, the ACR is a true and raw beast indeed and to be honest in that point and with all the things we know about the new GT2 RS so far, if i had to choose one, that would be the ACR without a second thought.

However, the only thing that i find inappropriate for the new RS is the 'only PDK option'. I mean WTF...

 

Debuted car at video game convention. Crazy looking. To me, its like a tuner car. Over 650hp and probably around $350k! No way porsche

 

Always have a soft spot for the GT2's - but I am not sure how I feel about this model.

It looks way too similar to a GT3 RS. I dont like the 991 GT3 RS to begin with. Disappointed.

 

why pay extra $150k over gt3rs for what looks very similar with an extra 150 hp that revs lower and sounds much worse? $1000/hp is not a good value ratio!

 

I also have to agree. I was not happy with my GT3 RS and was hoping for a more road oriented GT2. I am first ton the list for the GT2 RS from my dealer. If it is 250-275K I am in. Otherwise I am keeping the F12.

As a prior 991 Gt3 owner, I would much rather have this car over any GT3. Will be sick but the cost had a 991 turbo, I can't even imagine how crazy even more hp and torque through just the rear wheel

How many will be produced ? When is expected delivery ?

 

I'm sure it'll go like crazy but it does nothing for me. The previous GT2RS was an underperformer.

+991. These wings on the 911 GT car's are getting obnoxious. I like Ferrari's approach for downforce.....effective and elegant.

 

Rumours say there will be 1000 made.

Nope, I do not like it at all. Too much like a tuner car but without the sound. No wonder half the video is silent. It sounds terrible.

I would take used gt3rs or new gt3 over it not even considering cost. And for $350k who wouldnt take 720, performante, or 488? And nismo gtr is even more exclusive.
