Not sure I understand why it has to be the Espada's perforation pattern then?

The perforations on the Espada's front seats don't really serve much in the way of a ventilation function since the perfs on the seat backs do not align with the holes punched in steel frame.

It has to be the Espada pattern just cause it was ordered new like that. And now undergoing a full Concours resto in the US.

Oh OK that's a really interesting tidbit. Must have been the same interior guy back in the day in Modena?

Perhaps some restoration photos can be posted?

The last American engined they sold was the green S1 for 15k or close to that. That was in far better shape. Owner redid interior right away.
This is a full blown resto.
Very disappointing it was treated like this.

If you are talking about the pattern for the perforations you requested a source for the Espada's version and I supplied that already located here in the USA where your car is located. If it's the general pattern of the interior's seats for a Ghibli of that vintage I'm sure there are plenty of shops who could supply thay that.

Ivan would certainly know as he's done a few of those I think or maybe just s spider which IS probably a bit different.

But that's best addressed in the Maserati section.

    No language issue.

I will never find in the Maserati section where we could get Espada hole pattern leathers I guess...

    Friends,

Just found this thread--very happy to see it is so extensive! Wanted to share my 1973 Espada S3 (VIN# 9332) which I purchased back in 2004. Car has since had restoration of the motor, transmission, interior, and along with other mechanical attention.

Previously belonged to actor Nicholas Cage. I bought the car from Auto Toy Store in Ft. Lauderdale after it failed to sell at auction. I have no knowledge of the car's prior history before Mr. Cage, so if anyone can shed a light, would be very grateful.

Car is a beautiful dark blue metallic color that has a hint of purple in the right light. Looks like a repaint was done at some point prior to my acquisition, and I don't know if this color is original to Espada's, or original to this car. Tan interior is completely renewed with new carpets, and correct perforations. Pictures from today attached...

And ... you already found several sources for the pattern in this thread a while ago already. Did you miss that?

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/145418972-post4636.html

So that is why I was thinking you wanted something else about the seat patterns for the Ghibli which IS best discussed in the Maserati section.

As the Owner has still not made up his mind, and as solutions in Europe are irrealistic for him, we are still looking for the best solution.

And Thax again for your advices, but I'm not the one who decides for that car.

can anyone give me a market value for series 3 value?
    Not concourse, something less

    looking for a current range.

    Hagerty puts these at $104K-$148K

Is this correct depending on condition?
