Time for some serious dictator style F1 racing in Baku. Slippery, low grip, narrow corners and a long straight. Im hoping Ferrari can make Mercedes feel pain....except for Bottas :)

Id like to see Bottas beat LH and overall see a Ferrari win.

How long will Honda last and will FA go off into the city for a coffee and polite conversation with the fans upon his motor expiring?? :)

With penalties, I think Alonso's starting position will be somewhere in Italy.

Its going to be an interesting weekend. I guess Williams (Massa) and the Force Chinas will dice it out for best of the rest.

Lewis may identify a suitable wall again, I wouldn't mind.

Long straights and heavy braking zones seem to favor Mercedes just like Montreal.

Lots of tight corners require a nimble car plus good traction, tyres will lose temp on straights so not sure merc will have an easy ride suspect Ferrari will be right up there.

Hope to see a ferrari win, maybe a second place too, and it would be good to see elton tag a wall and retire, taking out maxie at the same time.

Mercedes: Long wheelbase benefits will outstrip its negatives

Mercedes is convinced that the benefits of its longer wheelbase car on high speeds circuits far outweigh any downside it suffers on Formula 1's tight and narrow tracks, despite some early-season struggles.

I think the Ferrari shows that not to be true. The Ferrari is the better car in my opinion.

Correct. I believe its the best of the two and well balanced for all types of circuits. Only thing is the long straight....it favors the W08 if Ferrari were side by side down the straight.

With DRS less effective those straights in certain circuits seem to be less important overall. The Mercedes has balance, tire and slow corner issues it seems. Ferrari is just the best all -rounder at the moment.
