To combine qualifying with Timberlake's concert they move the start time to 4pm

    That's so retarded.

I don't want to spend all day at the track to watch two hours of F1. Zero interest in the Timberlake concert

I'm guessing Andreas goes to the racetrack to see racing. I know I do....and wouldn't know Timberlake if he sat down next to me.

That's easy for you to say if you don't go there or only care about qualy. I like to watch Saturday practice as well. Now there is this ridiculous long break in the day. COTA is not that super interesting to spend all those hours (wouldn't be a problem in a city track).

Maybe they will run Porsche Cup and Ferrari Challenge and Historics to take up the lag time?????

No, we will clock out and head to the Landing Strip topless bar....

As stated above, not an issue!!!

I am hoping my motorhome guests come back, and we can party there!!
    Ahem, if they don't mind....

My guess, and it's pure speculation on my part, is the promoters are trying to attract as many young fans as they can and hope that they become F1 fans.

Well yes. Getting the Timberlake crowd in matters more to them than catering to the old piston heads like me.

At any rate, I won't stick around beyond qualifying. Timberlake can cry me a river :)

Almost there but no, the reason is Timberlake needs time to seperate the blue M&M's from the yellow, red and green M&M's.....

Kind of rough as that's Austin's "East Side" but I carried complimentary Guest Cards when I worked for COTA.

Anyone that I could not satisfy with "an issue" I made a big deal out of it, and handed them a card!!

I will get another stack for this year!

Anytime I was in there in full Team Gear, the girls noticed, big time.

I remember going to the Glenn in the 70s, You had to be a real piston head to spend time there! Fans were truly interested in F1 racing then.

All the F1 fans wives and girlfriends would rather go to JT than Qualy. This helps every man who has to take his wife or GF to the race with him in order to go to it.

Probably true and utterly pathetic. All that's wrong with F1 today exemplified
