Well done Ricci, Ferrari will one day be your home. Following via F Chat and the BBC website which makes a McHonda look fast. I've not see the incident so can't pass judgement, but Ham "brake testing"then asking Bottas to back up Seb shows the nature of the man. Gloves are off from now on. Ferrari used to rival the Vatican for the dark arts of politics, they need to get back on the game.

He got a 10s penalty while Hamilton (for his braking) and Bottas (for pushing Raikkonen) got nothing, so hopefully that's enough...
While Hamilton and Bottas actions might have not been considered as serious as Vettel's, they were clearly breaking the rules and as such could have been penalised.

You are assuming Lewis's headrest would have popped off anyway even without the race interruption caused by his backing up Seb and destroying his front wing.

Seb was behind Lewis when Lewis claimed he backed off the PC. Seb ended up 2 points ahead in the end. So much for your flawed analysis.

The penalty has already been served - He will most likely get 3 points on his licence at worst.

Ricciardo's got Max's hat on the podium! - Goes to show who Red Bull thought would do better out of their two drivers! ;)

Who cares he took Massa's podium. He did well but Im not about to bow down at all. He had a test after Canada to basically learn what F1 cars do and work.

He's testing when others cant. Good for Williams but Massa was on to possibly win. He got lucky and some times thats what you need to get a good result. A confidence builder it should be....he got his podium and its time actually consistently beat Massa or else.

He's not Max yet.....but who cares because = GO RICCI!!!

They all seem happy and probably the best pre podium and podium set of drivers this year for sure!!!

I was indeed assuming that LH's headrest would have popped off, race interruption or not.

Seb could have ended up 15 points ahead (P1 instead of P4).

He should have used the underage excuse to avoid the Shoey. Bottas was getting ready to leave the stage to avoid it. lol

Only if they can't get Max.

Verstappen is the driver Ferrari really want (as do Mercedes) - Ricciardo would be their second choice every time!

(Ideally, Ferrari may want to get both Max and Ricciardo, but Max is the main target).

If Red Bull keep letting Max down and Ferrari come calling, it may be hard for Red Bull to stop it happening! (As Christian Horner has already said: "You cannot force a driver to drive for you, regardless of contracts"

Well, you are completely wrong because Lewis (and Seb) both stepped out to check their cars during the interruption. Even Sky just said the headrest was probably improperly installed after the race interruption. Headrests are not known to malfunction pop off on their own.

The truth is that you are trying too hard to pan Seb's performance. Seb had good reason to be upset and he made a mistake. Drivers' adrenaline are very high and stuff like that happens. Seb did not mean to bump Lewis. He managed to stay ahead off Lewis after his 10 sec penalty. IMO, Lewis tried several times to trip Seb over during several yellow flag sessions.

The interruption in the race wasn't only for the debris left behind after Seb ran into the back of lewis - There was too much debris all around the track from a number of incidents (as pointed out by Fernando Alonso during the race!).
