Justin, I'm one of the many that didn't forget. After contemplating these pictures of your beautiful Grigio Ferro I become even more convinced that aesthetically the F12 is a timeless car.

If I may digress slightly; something else you don't see is dual tone paint on the F12. That paint idea was much more popular on the 599 GTO.
F12KID do you recall the F12 wearing TdF blu with a silver paint roof? I think it was a Swiss customer but I only recall one picture from a high angle which I don't have anymore. Your comment on the Lusso roof color reminded me of it. Long before the 599 GTO was thought of there was a 599 with a silver paint roof that was rather bold at that time to.

Grigio Ferro. It's such a perfect grey in the middle of the already great Titanio and Silverstone that in my mind the crazy extra cost is even justified.

Not to say that 812 is poorly designed, but nothing goes together with Ferrari as well as Pininfarina IMO.

There is an uncanny aggressive quality in the design of the F12 that I can't really see duplicated in the 812. The F12 looks like a shark IMO.

I agree. Someone once said that the definition of a truly beautiful car is "one that is balanced, one that enjoys a harmonious play between its shape, detailing and mechanical underpinning, one that feels as good at the wheel, or to ride in, as it does to look at in magazines or on the road". IMO the F12 in it's classical and historical colors completely fulfills these definition.

    Looks great

Looks like a Ferrari. Not like a Viper front end and a Corvette tail.

I'll say it again, this Ferrari design team got lucky with the macho and fun TDF which suits them, these other cars are trying wayyyy to hard. Lacking Italian elegance, or understated anything, or feminine curves of any sort.

Someone else once said that Italian sports cars look like (side view) a beautiful naked lady lying on her side.

That's why I love the F12. And also why I own a Maserati GranTurismo.

Very good analogy for the side view. For the rear view there are others that say they can visualize clearly a uterus when looking at the F12.
