Bottas does not deserve a penalty, he hit the inside wall which pushed him into Kimi. It was a mistake, not intentional.


In the end a crazy silly race, but a win for Rici, amazing 3rd for Stroll and Vettel increased his lead over Hamilton

I just read this quote from Lewis Hamilton from the ABC Sports page.


The episode left Hamilton incensed.

"Deliberately driving into another driver and getting away pretty much scot-free as he still came fourth, I think that's a disgrace. I think he disgraced himself today," Hamilton said.

"Imagine all the young kids that are watching Formula 1 today and see that kind of behaviour from a four-time world champion. I think that says it all.

"If he wants to prove that he's a man, I think we should do it out of the car face-to-face."



In my view Lewis Hamilton did engineer that collision with Vettel. Of course, Vettel should never had responded in the way that he did.

These comments from Hamilton are quite ridiculous. He is a very unsportsmanlike person who acts like a petulant child.

 

Pete, you haven't worked it out yet, ANYONE that touches the Ferraris is in the WRONG !!!!

Bottas had the luckiest placing since Rubinho won the (?) German GP for Ferrari when he was partnering with Schuey.

He slams into Kimi, gets NO penalty , goes a lap down , then a SC comes out and waves him by to unlap himself, then 2 more SCs and a LOT of retirements plus some pretty ordinary decisions from the pommy race controllers paves the way for him to steal 2nd from Stroll.

Dan keeps picking up good places because unlike Mad Max he doesn't try to win the race in the first corner, but stays out of trouble and picks off the opponents one at a time like a true pro.

I also think that Max is over-driving the car and is like GV use to be (he found all the weak spots in the Ferrari designs of the 70s and 80s) and if he was driving the Ferrari or Mercs he'd be close to unbeatable ..... except for Dan

Hamilton proved his pathetic attitude in that race when he whined that Vettel didn't get a big enough penalty for the road rage act after he brake tested the German and then wanted Bottas to back Vettel up so he could get more points by hopefully compromising SV's race .......... Hamilturd is a swine and then he gets all cagey in the after race interviews and alludes to SV being a disgrace

John, You need to put the bottle down. What do you want, 2 car races with just Vettel and Kimi on the track, separated by half a lap so even they can never touch each other? Guess what accidents and mistakes do happen. Bottas did not deliberately make a mistake to take out Kimi.

Again the big picture is Vettel has extended his lead in the WDC ... who the **** cares what happened to Kimi and Bottas, they don't matter in this years WDC.

I think Vettel would biatch slap that poofter, I dislike him more EVERY race ......... sure he can drive but he's not Mika Hakkinen who I thought was a gentleman and brilliant racer without the disgraceful driving we get from Hamilturd.

This isn't the first time Hamilton has done this, last time webber got caught up in this rubbish behind the SC and Vettel drove into the back of Webber when Hamilturd slammed the brakes on and Webber had to respond with vettel behind obscured by the spray (it was raining) smashed into Webber
