Hello everyone, long time lurker and former dreamer! Today with the support of family and my wife, I pulled the trigger on my very first Ferrari! It's on '09 430 Scuderia Rosso Corsa/ Nero!

I came from the BMW community as I had a highly modified M3. Seeing that most upgrade to Porsche, I had to go a little bit higher and went all out into a Ferrari and as everyone on the forum says, it's well worth it.

The car is in ok condition, needs some TLC as some of the carbon panels have faded, headlight lenses have some spiderwebs. But other than that clutch and brakes were Good! I drove the car and I can't stop grinning.

Anyhow, here are some pics. In the coming months I plan to replace some of the worn out stuff and freshen her up a bit! Sorry for crappy night iPhone pics.....

That's a freaking awesome car. I would buy that exact same color combination too. Very well done! Now go and enjoy the heck out of it.

Remember to post your feelings and experiences with the car after few months. I would be interested to read and I bet others too who are looking to jump in a Scud.

    Excellent choice !!
Ww can fix the hazy milky carbon fiber which the Scud is prone to because of high heat in the engine area.

    Good luck with her.

That is the same Ferrari I started with as well. Not only is it incredibly raw and interesting to drive, it's been the most reliable car I own!

Well if you are going to jump in with both feet, that's the way to do it. Scuds are awesome! Congratulations, she's a beauty.

One minor quibble: you need to replace the German flag with a prancing horse!

Don't be a stranger here and you might think about joining the Ferrari club.

    +2! 09 Rosso Corsa/Nero alcantera w/red stitching ;)
Don't feel a rush to start fixing stuff. There is a lot of help available through this forum to assist with how to go about it, whether diy, or choosing a vendor.

Ohh I definitely will make a review after several months of ownership. Good and bad experiences!

Thank you guys! Just thinking about it in my possession gives me goosebumps.

Thanks Glenn! You carry pretty much all the panels and parts I need to replace! Will definitely be contacting you guys!

Thanks guys! From the moment I saw the car and after driving one, I knew I had to be in one one day!

Performance upgrades are def in the plans after taking care of some of the imperfections!

That's awesome to know! Thanks for the insight!

    Thanks for the welcome mike!

    Thanks guys!

Hahaha you're right! Now that the scud has taken over the BMWs space, it's time to remove that flag and place a prancing horse! Thanks for the welcome!

    Thank you! We twins!

The search button has been my best friend. Thanks for the tips!

    Thank you!

You actually inspired me to pursue this beauty when you first revealed yours back then.

I grew out of the crazy custom tuner scene

And don't worry everyone, I will NOT be extensively modifying this beautiful machine. Just the basic bolt ons, if anything. The scud is just one of those cars that are better left alone for the most part.

patience is a virtue. I am sure the wait was worth it. I had to take a few detours in other vehicles to land me into my Scuderia but the ends justify the means! enjoy mate

Congrats Pat. My first fcar is the same car as yours and one hell of a way to jump into the brand lol. Did you pick up your car locally? Our cars are almost twins.
