Can someone shed some light on the correct float level for the Dino 246GT/S Weber carbs. The original workshop manual puts it at 52mm +/- 0.25 with 8.5mm of travel. Other publications , including the Weber book by Haynes puts it at 50mm with 8.5mm of travel.
    Which is correct.

Hello Elias, many Dino in Lebanon?

    Show us yours :)

I would suggest the workshop manual, but someone will know more.

    Regards, Alberto

The 52mm float height with 8.5mm of travel is the correct specification for the Weber 40DCNF/13 carbs on your Dino. The specification in the Haynes manual is incorrect.

    Hello Alberto ,
    Thanks for your reply .18 GT's and 6 GTS's were imported in the 70's , only 3 remain , 2 GT's and 1 GTS. I've had mine since 1982.
    Regards,
    Elias

There seems to be mixed opinions regarding float heights for the DCNF carburetors. I have seen figures from 48 to 52 mm, but the Ferrari workshop manual also states 52 mm. See attachement.

    Best Peter
