List of your favorite F1 cars. I'll start. Ingore this if there's another thread for it.

    (In no order)
    1. Ferrari F2002 Dominated car and truly a masterpiece that can't be matched that year

    2. Ferrari F2004 same as F2004 execpt builds on to the f2002 making it an even faster car. It's also the fastest f1 car still holding serveal lap records. Plus Michael Schumacher for both of those make it my favorites on top of that

    3. Ferrari 126c looks great and was a very fast if just a little handle heavy. Giles a great driver could of won a title with it sadly the fated cashed meant he couldn't.. Still won the constructors so good achievement overall still.

    4. Renualt R25. Looks amazing. The Blue and yellow looked great. Plus was fast and reliable. Alonso drove it also.

    5. Sauber Bmw Saube F1.08 A great looking car. Fast could been faster still, unfortunately Bmw going for development for the 2009 car meant that this car was lacking in the later parts in the season A car with abilities to go higher yet wasted in that year.

    6. Ferrari F2008 another 2008 car. Looks amazing everything made it like a true jet fighter. The red looked epic on it. The car was absolutely awesome in its performance to back up the looks. In all a seriously amazing machine that could of won the Wdc also. Still being the last constructor title for Ferrari does show to make it quite a powerhouse. A designation I wish they would try to break with the SF70H which doesn't look like this year if Kimi can't finish at this rate the season going.

For me it is the following:

    1975 Ferrari 312T
    1991 McLaren MP4/6
    1990 Ferrari 641
    1976 Ferrari 312T2
    2003 Ferrari F2003-GA

It was the 126c2 that Gilles could have won in. The 1977 and 1978 Lotus were beautiful also. Lots of choices here. 1978 312t3 was nice too.

GP cars in general (including those before the war):

1.) Mercedes-Benz W125: the best looking of the Silver Arrows
2.) Alfa Romeo 158/159 Alfetta: Looks already great with the body on but the cut-away model in the Alfa Museum is simply stunning
    3.) Alfa Romeo P3: the legendary 8C 2900 Engine
4.) Bugatti Type 59: The best looking Bugatti with the whire wheels
5.) Mercedes-Benz W196 R: The straight-8 engine with the desmodromic valves might be the best sounding engine ever. The W196 both as Sportscar (300SLR) and the Monoposto where just superior to anything else....

    Just F1 (since 1950)
    1.) Alfa Romeo 158/159 Alfetta
    2.) Mercedes-Benz W196R
3.) McLaren MP4/6: the purest lines possible...nothing distracts
4.) Ferrari 312: as mentioned above, the spaghetti exhaust is just great
5.) Lotus 49: was featured this weekend in Goodwood and I like it particular in the Gold Leaf design and the high wing

There are way too many to list for me, but the shortened version:

    Brabham BT55
    McLaren MP4/4
    Williams FW14B
    Williams FW16
Williams FW26B (the updated version of the FW26A that had the ugly walrus tusks)
    Ferrari F2004
    Renault R25 and R26
BMW Sauber F1.08...the last good looking one for me. The thing that did it most were the blended in wings on the top of the nose.

The MP4/21 in the orange test livery is pretty nice.

    You mean like:

I was a Lotus fan, the 49 in particular, but without wings, which was the beginning of the plight we are in now. Your high ones only caused trouble at Spain, resulting in their banning.

"The Ferrari F2002 was one of the most successful Formula One car designs of all time. Designed by Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne and Paolo Martinelli, it won fifteen Grands Prix, from a total of nineteen races in 2002 and 2003."

"Powered by a 3.0-litre V10 engine, it was driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. It won 15 races and took both world titles – Schumacher’s third with Ferrari."

You mean the 126C2, not the 126.

Mario said a few years ago when he drove it in 1982 that he had never in his life driven a car
with that much power before or after.

    I tend to like the turbocars, MP4C, RE30B, 126C2, TG183B, but I loved the high-wing cars of 1968.

Nothing on the grid now sadly.

Though if the SF70H wins us the title, I am prepared to reconsider !

A couple of minor points: the first car you show is the 312 B (or 312 B1), which most people prefer to the later B2. And the older Ferrari has the 1968 engine, which differed slightly from the 1967 version, though both are good lookers.
