That's my car for sale. Not sure where 55k came from...I haven't advertised it other than on eBay. Thanks for the kind words, everyone. The car is an honest, solid car. Craig at fast cars knows the car.
Not true...I advertised it in March, it was bid over 56k before I pulled the ad because I had a change of heart.
Whatever. The Ebay auction which ended 3/26 say "Starting bid $55k, no bids". If it actually got to $56k looks like you should have taken it since the current auction didn't come close to that. Not a good time to be selling a 355, regardless of condition, or cars in general. Good luck with the sale.
Hey guys I listed my car on eBay with no reserve, but I'd rather sell it to a FCHAT member if anyone is interested I'm looking to get $62,500 and will cancel eBay sale. The car needs an engine out due to a leaking cam seal, was quoted $5k by site sponsor POCONO sportscar. I would do the engine out (again) but I was in a high speed incident on the track (in a different car!) and my neck and back are not up to it at this time. 1995 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta | eBay
A few months ago I had a long video chat with Aaron (seller) and he walked over the whole car with me. He was very open and honest and is a real enthusiast. If you're in the market for a well sorted driver (that needs a major, yes) he's worth talking to. Sorry about your injury Aaron. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Proof that too many times we just get caught up in the hearsay, and don't just get what we like. It'd probably be a great driver. if it's been fixed well, it's no different than a basket case restoration. sjd
Well said. So many guys get caught up in perfection. My car is $95k. When I decide to sell it will be different market if it is supported then. Otherwise I will wait for it to be stronger. Yet this car will probably push all the same buttons at half the price? Crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
After having built a '71 Plymouth GTX as a "brand new old car" (basket case restoration), i'm lately failing to see the difference between "I saved this old car" and "salvage title, fixed car" except for about 25 more years of age and some semantics. I mean, if the blue car got rear ended, and was left in a garage, and someone got themselves a fixable barn find 355 20 years from now...there's not much difference other than this one is fixed now, and isn't salvage...IIRC. sjd
Pot a toe - Pot-o-toe. Semantics it is. A lot of salvage old cars become $300k barn finds [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like a decent car for the price.... Unless I'm seeing things (very possible) someone should advise him to holster his pistol prior to shooting FS photos https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=461672278&zip=14127&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D14127%26showcaseOwnerId%3D0%26startYear%3D1981%26sortBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D50%26endYear%3D2016%26modelCodeList%3DF355%26makeCodeList%3DFER%26searchRadius%3D0&startYear=1981&numRecords=25&firstRecord=50&endYear=2016&modelCodeList=F355&makeCodeList=FER&searchRadius=0&makeCode1=FER&modelCode1=F355 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Any thoughts on this one? I just started looking at different TRs and 355 coupes. Looks nice but seems priced on the high side. But then again, just getting more knowledgable on the 355s so appreciate others thoughts based on the current market. Thanks. 1997 Used Ferrari F355 at Kip Sheward Motorsports Serving Novi, MI, IID 16432834
Nice car. Not overpriced. I don't believe the interior is Cuoio - it looks like beige 4208. Beige with black carpets is not very common.
Thanks Dave. Looks like we are in a bit of a soft market right now as most of the Testarossas I see aren't selling and prices are coming down. Since both cars need engine out service maintenance, I know that is a big factor in the pricing. I think TRs are heading below $100k so thought 355s would be going to the $60k - $70k range for nice examples. Although really nice documented cars with updated service will always command the upper range pricing.
The market is soft now, no question. But, it's next to impossible to find a 355 that is in great condition, low miles yet needs nothing. 95% of them need something. From what I can see, this car looks good. Needs stuff for sure but IMO worth the ask or near.
I agree. Aiming for 60k isn't going to buy you a nice 15k mile Berlinetta, unless you are much luckier than me
