My situation: Do not have original immobilizer PIN Only have slave remote that came with the car. Solution Gobble says he has a process that can retrieve the PIN code from Immobilizer chipset The process: Gobble lives nearby so I brought my car to Gobble's place and I pulled the immobilizer ECU and gave it to Gobble. The central processing chip was de-soldered from the board. Chip was installed on the computer and the details of the immobilizer data were extracted. The details were then decoded. My car had an immobilizer pin of 9833. Who knew? Chip was re-installed on the immobilizer circuit board and the immobilizer re-installed in the car. The manual PIN restart process was tested and the car did indeed disable the immobilizer using the 9833 PIN code. (If you have a red master FOB that came with the car I believe you can stop here. – but check with Gobble) My car did not have a red master FOB so we continued on. Gobble programmed a new red master FOB and prepped two new slave FOB's. We then did the master remote learn process procedure. Once the learn process was activated in the car, Gobble did the re-learn sequence on all three remotes and the car now has a new PIN, red master FOB and two slave FOB's all correctly coordinated. The process was tedious in de-soldering and reading the immobilizer chip and then re-soldering to the board. But clearly it is achievable. My earlier "cloned" remotes from Gobble lost connectivity due to rolling code changes. Using one FOB while the others sat in a drawer caused them to no longer communicate with the car. These new FOB's seem to work regardless of the rolling code changes. At least that is the case so far. It is early so I reserve the right to change my opinion on this. In the end, it was a success! I now have all three FOB’s and a PIN that works. Gobble even provided a photoshopped copy of the Ferrari PIN code sheet with my VIN and new PIN. ☺ Very, very impressed with what Gobble did and the people working with him. NFI interest in any of this. Buyer Beware. Etc etc etc. But this worked. Just sharing an experience that may help some others that are missing the PIN code.
Cool. I wonder if Gobble is going to offer this service? I have all three FOBS but no PIN. I would like to know the PIN, but not enough to send it overseas or pay Ferrari for a chance on getting the right PIN.
Randy, I enjoyed working through that and especially hearing those three chirps at the end. I'll add to one thing you said. If you have an already installed master and slaves you could stop there. For example if someone was just wanting to know their PIN... But if you needed to install one or two new fobs you can't stop. You'd need a new master that doesn't match the existing PIN. You'd go through the learning process with the new master and new fobs and after that you'd have a new installed set (with a new PIN). You can't go through the learning process with your existing master if it matches the PIN in the immobilizer. Once the new PIN is installed by the new master, you could then go back into learning mode with the new PIN and re-learn the old master. For someone wanting to do a swap like this and just install new fobs (and keep their current PIN) I've written data to a loaner master with a beat up case that I'll send around for free if it helps anyone. Someone that knows their PIN and simply wants to add a fob can't do that. In the old days they'd need to go to the dealer and buy a new set of 3 fobs. By the way, your old PIN was 9855 (not 9833) if you're keeping records.

Mark is doing a bang up job. If you have your PIN and master fob, but are missing black fobs, he can also supply a new set with new PIN. There is always a market for your old fobs, too, so you can help defray the cost that way. Mark may even be interested in them. I need to incorporate what he and a couple of other folks can do with fobs now (Mark probably the most reasonable). Plus mention all the videos now out there. My document is out of date. There has been so much progress! I bought my car with 1 black fob and no PIN. I got it copied to another slave fob so I have two black fobs that go out of synch if I keep using just one. The $200 extorted out of me for my original PIN gave me a PIN that did not work. What are my choices? Remove my module and have my PIN extracted and then have it learn one of two FOBs so that they become two independent fobs?
Mark can pull your existing PIN from your immobilizer. Then, you will use that PIÑA to unlock the system and program the system to accept a new PIN and 3 new fobs. The old PIN will then be dead and so will any old FOB's
I sent my Red Fob to Mark. It got lost by UPS for a few days. That will make you pucker. It finally got to him today. Tonight he emailed me the PIN. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Good work Mark! Thanks. Hopefully, UPS will do better on the way home. What a great service.
So...as an update. Mark did the PIN extraction and new fob set for me last June (2017). So, in September I placed the red and second black fob in my safe. All of my driving this summer was with one black fob. Almost a year on and I just dug out the red and second fob and each worked on the first button push. With Mark's help, I now have my immobilizer code, red master and two slave fobs exactly what the car had as new. Thanks Mark! It works perfectly.
