Copied what was there from the factory after a few practise runs on cardboard to get the font and upside down nonsensical lettering just right.

Really nice work. But I would have preferred a big block chevy in there. Isn't there a kit for that?

The old plug wires have seen better days.....

The new plug wires are pretty good but the first thing you must do is cut off all the clear zinc plated wire supports they charged you for and throw them as far away from you as possible. The wires are also improperly threaded through the supports not to mention the supports wont even fit an injected application (will fit a carb car and loom wrong doing so). So the wire supports must go and transfer the original ones after plating. Followed your work on Boxers for a few years now (and your old 308 if i recall correctly). Anyway, beautiful work that is delicious to behold.
    Well done.

It's a beautiful thing Paul! How many BBs does this one make total in all three versions?

The left tips were skewed slightly when I first bought the car and its clear they were welded that way because there's just no way for them to get bent like that. Its such a solid piece of stainless steel that the tips would get mangled long before the pipe would bend. So time, heat and leverage I was able to correct it to match the other side. Ill post pics later, forgot to take some. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Better than factory, Paul. I don't understand what they were thinking with the exhaust. This car was never going to the U.S. so what gives with the Cadillac exhaust?? And then it seems they followed through on the Testarosssa, 512TR, and 512M. Why?

Switzerland comes to mind with noise restrictions. Wasn't a US compliance concern thats for sure.

Its bare stainless as it would be originally on an injected car. Problem with coating it is the potential for the coating to go brown in places from the heat. Not sure if ceramic clear would stand the test of time. That said, I fogged some high heat clear on the mild steel flanges. Why they didn't make everything stainless I don't know.
