Merry Christmas. A few have emailed me asking to see more photos of my Amalgan 1:8 collections in the custom cases I had built. The cases are scheduled to arrive on January 6th. Assuming all goes well, I'll post many photos in a new thread when they arrive. They were delayed because of he lighting boxes and the holidays.

@AmalgamCollection I know this is a long shot and a little premature but I hope Amalgam Collection will consider making a 1/18 and/or 1/8 scale model of the upcoming Pagani Huayra Roadster and MB R50/Project One! Your 1/8 Pagani Huayra is a masterpiece and it is my all time Holy Grail model to own.

The R50 looks a very exciting prospect indeed - pretty much a road legal LMP1 car!
And we're looking forward to seeing the Huayra Roadster at Geneva. To early to say if we will model them but both are definitely on our radar...

A 328 GTS would be a nice addition.

@Amalgam Collection Any chance you will ever make a 1/8 scale model with opening parts of the Aston Martin Vulcan? Several model companies will be making it in 1/18 scale this year. Really hoping you decide to make the Pagani Huayra Roadster in 1/8 scale now that it has been unveiled before Geneva.

@Amalgamcollection, is the 1:8 scale AM-RB 001 model I saw in Gaydon your work?

I don't think so, normally you would see our logo on the base?

I don't know any news for the AM Vulcan at the moment.
We're making the Huayra BC later this year, but no news regarding the Roadster yet.

We're only starting to create the 1/18 - more info The Amalgam Collection at 1:18 Scale | Amalgam Collection

Started with the Ferrari collections, and Porsche to follow soon.

I assumed it was your work as you are a partner of Aston Martin and I assumed you will be modeling this very unique car at some point in the future...

Do you have in the plans a 1:8 model for the production version of the AM-RB 001?

    Dear Amalgam
I need one final information before my ordering of your forthcoming new
    1/8 Pagani Huayra BC
    1) would it have the same opening parts like the previous Huayra you produced? Or would that have extra opening parts including the front hood?
    2) what color scheme you have for choice?
    3) is bespoke lighting option available for the BC version as well?

I was curious if Amalgam ever considered making a 1/8 scale model of the Aston Martin One-77? It would have been stunning in that scale.

It is good to see an updated Amalgam website.
I wondered why the parts number of each model was not included as initially planned?

Thanks for noticing. :) We're glad to hear you like our new website. It was a massive undertaking to back track all the numbers and to update the product pages. More features to be added later. Stay tuned.

I wondered whether total parts count would be up in the website eventually?

Just saw the 356 Speedster and the 400 hours build time.
I'm a big Amalgam fan and had several models but after the price explosion
and some issues i stopped collecting and also i miss perfect details
and the Speedster is a good example it looks in details a little bit simple
and over 10.000 Euro is just wooowww...

And really 50 days with 8 hours a day is needed for the build?

I don't want to be rude as a fan i'm only dissapointed in many ways...

Only to show that the "fan" is not only a word:

The only info I can find is the development time and model build hours
There is no info about estimated parts count as you suggested

    Pls advise
