Also encouraging to see (for those of us who drive on the correct side of the road) that one of the cars is RHD !
Bizarre in 2017 with increasing RHD for Ferrari that hyper car LHD only and we wait so long for normal cars to be made in RHD.
Based on this vid looks like the first planned Dec delivery of RHD in Australia is on track for December this year. Interestingly I am yet to see a Nero Daytona 812 posted so if anyone has a pic could they post please.
I too, would love to see a Nero or Nero Daytona car. Just found this. Video. Is the car at 1:38 in Nero Daytona? (The car in original footage with the reviewer. Not the stock clips we've seen before)
The UK options list for the 812 has Monocoque carbon fibre racing seat as an option. It is not on the configurator. Anyone got an image ? Is it the seat they offered on the Tdf ?
Yes those are the same seats ! http://st.motortrend.com/uploads/sites/5/2015/11/Ferrari-F12tdf-front-interior-seats.jpg So far, I've seen them on two tdf among the MANY pics I saw. member "Chaussure cowboy" and the demo car (Picture) Neil (ChaussureCowboy) told me he had to take a picture with him when configuring his Tdf, the people at ferrari didn't even know what he was talking about ! Traveller considers them as uncomfortable and not suited for road use. He is very probably right since almost nobody ordered them and Ferrari seems to avoid advertise them
Sorry Here is the link to a video with a Nero Daytona 812. Or is it? Go to 1:37 the scene where the reviewer is standing by the car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzaPTHdsTKU
Thanks.I am going for the Daytona racing seats as I want a GT feel but was curious.Maybe they have a load left over from the Tdf !!
CdF was going to be my second guess! Tons of metallic flake in that CdF. Nero Daytona has less flake and a little more gloss and shine.
Thanks for the link-yes it is CdF not ND however that is the first time I have seen my wheel selection, the standard wheels in Grigio Corsa, and I am now very happy with that decision.
Saw one at Ferrari of Westlake in Thousand Oaks 3 weeks ago. They had it on display for a few days. I was surprised how big the 812 is. There was an F12 next to it, which looked smaller. I don't know what it is about the 812 that is not sitting well with me. Maybe its just to angular and doesn't flow well.
The design of the 812 is a major departure from the F12. It makes perfect sense for people to react adversely. If you don't like the design don't submit and order the car. Dissent and stick to your guns. I respect that more than a sheepish position. On the other hand, I am happy with the most powerful and most enjoyable drivers car since the F 12 or TDF.

While some will certainly be reacting to the shock of the new, many are simply recognising what is, in the photos at least, a mess of conflicting lines and volumes (especially along its flanks). Let's hope that the car follows Ferrari's recent trend of producing cars that photograph badly but look great in the flesh. Most will also enjoy those virtues. And some of those will still question the styling.
I still prefer it with the silver rims (standard and/or TDF) and CF or painted center hub. They're much more elegant. Concerning the interior, I wonder how much they charge for a Piano Black steering wheel.
Pretty angle. For the first time, I see lines from the F12. ...Then again, It's the 1st time seeing the car in person. Image Unavailable, Please Login
