Yeah. Not a fan of the Chrysler lights.

 

Disappointing Expected something more Elegant and exciting especially after 14 years

 

Makes a used previous model even a greater bargain, most folks will not be able to tell the difference.

 

I LOVE THE GHOST, But this has become a big tank , its stale.
Their quality has gone through the roof, but if you have driven them as I have, its just too big and bulky.
Put round lights on the front and slim line the rear facia, would make a big improvement.
Im In New York and these days, its not hip or chic to be seen in one, its more of a vandalism magnet.

As far as its looks: RR has officially run out of ideas.

 

What's with the shelf on the dash?

 

That's so when my parents drive to Palm Beach from New York, they put the entire Pizza box with garlic knots on the dash so they have room too eat in the car while driving.

I am on my second Phantom and the big draw for me is the comfort but I have to say I am (might be few) of the ones who liked the first 2 gens appearance. Meaning I liked the massive presence. This one seems to have the same idea behind it. Not liking the front however. I am still sad they killed off the Phantom Drophead. Ghost is a rebranded 7. Very "plasticky"!

 

I wonder if the nav screen now pops up in that space...

 

Alfa has the right idea for nav screens in the future. Completely invisible until you want them on.

Nav screens are a wart on a modern car's interior design. These idiotic stuck on "Ipads" that manufacturers seem to like are horrible to look at all day long.

At least this one retracts but I bet it looks ugly as sin when out.

 

I like the Bentley's better

I've seen the Rolls Royce episode of "How It's Made" and was very impressed with the inside scoop on RR's fit, finish and quality. Truly impressive. However, this is not a very compelling design. I feel for this type of money, when you see it, you should really be smitten.

 

You miss the point of an RR

The point is not that YOU are smitten. It's that others are smitten at you.

They say you can't buy class. But you can buy one of these and appear to have.

You'd have to be 75 to buy one of these. An old fart car if I've ever seen one.

 

They ruined it, the previous generation is much nicer.

 

I can't stand this new fad of replacing gauges, speedometer and tach in particular, with these stupid, huge screens.
They do not belong in a true luxury car and make it cheap looking, it is what you are looking at the most and should be expensive, precision made jewels.
