    Hi everyone,

I ran across this picture a couple minutes ago. Does anyone know anything about this car, like if it's legit? I suspect it's probably a replica, albeit one that is very well done, but I'm definitely not a Daytona expert.

This isn't my photo, so I don't know if there are any additional photos showing the front of the car.

Plate is in clear view. Find someone in SC to look it up.

Tried to look it up using the free AutoCheck plate method. No record found. Maybe it is a replica. Are you sure the state is SC? I couldn't tell.

It is definitely an SC plate with the crescent moon and palmetto tree symbol in the middle.

It is definitely a SC plate. I tried looking it up on the service that Carfax offers (it just displays the year, make, and model) but it said there were no results. I suspect that the car has been sold and is no longer registered to that plate.

I was mainly just wondering if anyone knew of any Daytona Spiders in South Carolina and could verify if it was legit, since it's such a rare and valuable car.

Looks like a cut gtb. I would say it was a Straman. Post it in vintage and you may get an answer.

Thanks guys, I posted it there and it seems that it is a real Daytona Spider now owned by an FChatter!
