Surely this beautiful weather we've been having will finish next week. Another stunning day for flying today. This time next month I leave for Switzerland to pick up the 1500th PC-12, and bring her back to Adelaide. 👍 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would be handy, but would remove all the fun bits (ie. stopping in lots of sketchy places). Not sure of the exact route yet, but we drag it out over five days or so. Should be fun.
A 25 year old lingerie model? Possibly. 👍 You? Probably not. We need to be able to carry as much fuel as possible.
The handover ceremony has taken place for the aircraft I'm picking up in a couple of weeks. Really looking forward to it. Should be great fun! http://www.pilatus-aircraft.com/linkInDirect.php?linkInDirect=actpos:68;openarticle:355
Not in any proper sense. Spent a couple of days in Geneva then jumped on a train to Italy a few years ago. That's it.
Should be a great trip at this time of year Steve. The WX over Russia / Europe has been stunning. Hope your trip is enjoyable and uneventful.......
Well, all is in readiness for the start of the marathon ferry flight on Monday. Have spent the last couple of days at the factory doing prep-work and all the aircraft acceptance stuff, including the final check flight this morning. The people at Pilatus have been extremely friendly and professional and I got an excellent tour of the factory which I found every bit as enjoyable as the Ferrari factory tour. So, that's all the formal stuff out of the way. Monday morning we head off. Next stop Crete! Image Unavailable, Please Login
While here I was shown through the PC-24 (mockup). The actual aircraft is doing its final pre-certification testing at the moment so I've seen it flying several times. It's a really impressive machine and I can't wait for these to start arriving. A got a pic of some git in the cockpit and the interior.
