long time lurker on Ferrari Chat. defintely took the long road to get to Ferrari ownership "but good things comes to those who wait" (panda express fortune cookie). the long journey probably mirrors a lot of fellow members: ///M badge to a "GT" badge and then to a "Superleggera" vinyl sticker. I have a thing for "special" badges as my daily driver is an Integra Type R. or maybe I suffer a millennial syndrome where everything I do and own must be special and have a righteous purpose on earth. when it came down to which Ferrari model to acquire, I was presented with the 458 Italia and the 430 Scuderia. the decision I made was easy as it came down to which vehicle left a lasting impression. it made such an impact that on the drive back home after the test drive, I just made a U-Turn and headed back to seal the deal. I didn't want to mess with perfection too much so only added a few choice personal touches like BBS FI Wheels on Michelin PSS, Adjusted the height 10mm and Agency Power Titanium X Pipe to annoy my neighbors but excite their children.

Congrats. I went through the same decision - 458 or scud. A simple test drive made that decision for me - scud hands down. Such a great special car. Absolutely no regrets and the more seat time I get the more I want to keep driving it. Enjoy!

Love the wheels! You made the right decision going with the scud over the 458.

your post that described in detail your swith from "458 back to Scuderia" was a great reader during my initial stages of "window shopping" a Ferrari as those were the two models that were the finalists.

but physically experiencing the driving dynamics is what solidified that what you were reporting was very accurate.

I will be fair and say 1 is not better than the other but 1 is better than the other for my needs.

Glad my thread could help. I may have to follow in your footsteps now with the wheels :)

Great car, but I have to ask...

What does the license plate mean?

Awesome man! I sold my ITR to get my scud haha jk

I told my friend that bought my R that I'll buy it back soon.

My scud looks similar to yours minus the wheels. Enjoy and drive the crap out of her.

    haha I don't doubt that

If my friends from high school were in a coma and woke up today, they would be shocked I'm still driving an acura integra everyday 😂

Like the Scuderia, I felt both were running out of good inventory so I had to get in where I can
