    Hello everyone!

Been driving my car on a daily basis without issues and without being a nuisance to other drivers and all I can say is the experience is out of this world! Still smiling!

Anyhow, a friend and I parked the car and we sat down and I noticed something sticking out underneath the rear part of the sideskirt under the car. It was under the driver side by the rear wheel. I placed my finger and felt a tiny vacuum sensation. I don't know how long the hose has been sticking out and unplugged.....no CEL, no change in driveability. Can someone shed the light and let me know what it is? And whether I should plug the hose? I tried pushing the hose in and it's pretty difficult to push into the panel. I also noticed the the hose goes up through the skirt and into the area by the gas cap, if that makes any sense.

Thanks everyone! Please see attached pictures. Sorry for iPhone photos.

Noticed the same last week on mine. Sticks out about the same distance under my car.

That makes sense. Find it unusual that it sticks out blatantly like that.....

Yea the little protrusion kinda bothers me. Almost tempted to cut a little of it so it doesn't look like someone pulled a hose.

    Thanks guys for fast responses!

I believe that is the fuel fill overflow. Regardless, there should be no vacuum sensation. Need to get your "finger" recalibrated

Thanks for the responses! Yea I'd rather have a problem with my finger than the car haha.

Leave it alone and dont cut, thats how it should be and it comes down through a rubber grommet in the floor

AC drain will be up the front , not the back

She is a He? Everyone calls their F-cars as a "she / female" but they're actually males. That's a fact what I can tell from those pics

Isn't that the drain hose from the motorbay side cover panels? Where also the rain falls through the left and right side mesh of the rear window.

As Jgivoo said, this is the overflow for the fuel fill. If you open up the fuel door, you'll notice a grommet to the left in the recess. This grommet has a hole in the middle which allows fuel to flow to the ground if you overfill the tank. The expansion tank for coolant has the hose located toward the center of the underpanel (it is also much smaller in diameter).

Mikael - The drain for the engine bay side panels dump directly onto the underbody panel. No hoses.
