3487GT at London's Belgravia Concours on 23 June. I had to snatch the photo of the telaio plate as they seemed keen to keep snappers away, and thus missed my target! The car was being offered by JD Classics and from the (poor) shot of spec sheet, you will notice that the registration number is shown as ELW 69J (a 1972/3 number). Looks about right! Spotted it driving up the PCH and guessed it would be stopping at the Malibu Kitchen. Guessed right. There was a 330 GTC in the same lot. Not a bad Sunday.
Stirling Moss raced the 2 different 250 GT SWB Competizione cars, firstly the 1960 model 2119GT and then the 1961 model 2735GT with the same livery of the owner of both cars, Rob Walker.
Am i confused or one of the cars had a sligtly diferent livery?, being the roundels in a light blue..as well as the interior?
