Hello all. I pulled my completely warmed up 360 into the driveway and it sat with the engine running for about a minute while the garage door opened. I pulled it in the garage and when I got out I noticed a thin trail of water from about the center of the car leading from the driveway into the garage, about 6 feet long and an inch wide, gradually trailing off. The air conditioner was on (set at 68 degrees). Is this just AC condensation and if so, how is it getting out of what appears to be the sealed underside of the car?

Yes. The underside trays are not a water tight seal :)

Considering the time of year, I would say it's from the AC.

Agreed. While there may have been a drain hose at one point, now it may not be aligned correctly or even attached if there ever was one. I see it a lot when using AC and from the normal combustion from the exhaust pipes

There are holes in the tray to drain any leaks that may happen...

Rather than risk an expensive failure due to a potential leak, I would take the undertray off and confirm the source.

Color? Odor? All car fluids have unique characteristics. If odorless and colorless probably condensation.

Colorless, odorless water. Turned AC off and it didn't happen again this morning. Thanks.

Sounds like the ac drain hose is not positioned properly thru the undertray. Id take it off to check it as others have mentioned

I keep the AC on always when driving. I have the drain hose in place located in the center of car bottom, just between the front wheels. There is water trail often when I pull out of the garage. Nothing to worry about.

That's the engine sweating from the 400 HP it makes.

In that case; Wouldn't the sweat come out from the rear, not from the front? =)

A potential "leak" on a car with an undertray can originate far from where it actually hits the ground.
