1991 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet I love my red '88, but every time I see a nice black Mondial I think the lines work better in that color... Fair price on this one too, I think.
Pretty nice and rare RHD cab, modest price £25k - esp considering the low pound. Aussies take note! FERRARI Mondial QV Cabrio 1984 RHD 1 out of 24 cars made for the UK Image Unavailable, Please Login
Terrible ad. No good pics, poor description. Ridiculous asking price for a car in described condition, plus 0 feedback on eBay. Does anyone ever pull the trigger on something like this so spontaneously that taking the time to create this type of ad is worthwhile?
I plan to be at Mecum on Friday (I'll look for this car) and then Russo and Steel Friday and Saturday night. Be trackside Saturday afternoon.. Taking my Mondail with me and driving it around (getting in town Thursday late afternoon..
has anyone seen the Mondial T with 500 miles on it? 2 questions: 1) how much money to put aside for full service and all other "stuff" 2) what's best guess for a sale price? Thanks for your help

I believe that car is to be auctioned off 8/16 to 8/19. I don't see it hitting the $30K to $40K estimate, not in the US anyway (good for us). Did you notice that the driver's side door is raised up a little where it meets the door jamb? Possibly an easy adjustment, but it could be indicative of a past accident repair. I'm used to seeing the opposite on older US musclecars with huge doors, with the doors sagging over time due to weak hinges. I see you're in Lancaster PA, and I just had the kids to Strasburg Railroad last Friday. PA needs a few more Mondials out on the roads. heh
I see you went to Strasburg. My wife and I spent our anniversary last year at the Red Caboose motel. Old rail cars made into nice rooms. Pretty cool
The 82 Mondial 8, hit a high bid of $35K. However, reserve was higher, so it didn't sell. The TV announcers were very complimentary when discussing Mondials. Even to the point of saying that since it didn't sell, the owner probably won, as the car will be worth more in the future. Sid
I have the DuPont Registry magazine that featured this car on their cover. The white on white is stunning and factory origonal. The fresh cut roses didn't hurt the photo spread either. IMHO Joe
Yes very cool indeed. I have passed by those often. Looks like the property is under new ownership since last year and they are restoring the interiors of four cabooses per year, along with a number of other items on the grounds.
I really like this car a lot. The only thing that would have been cooler is a full leather dash in white as well.
Lancaster Mondial count will increase by 1 following restoration completion! Strasburg is pretty unique and a good day trip for the steam train ride and unique museum pieces.
Thanks for the info since wasn't able to track during the auction. $35K is respectable given the current "softness" in the collector car market. Good to see it go that high.
Relatively low mileage '81 Mondial, claims to be properly serviced. Looks like a nice car if someone is looking for one. 1981 Ferrari Mondial | eBay
