    Perhaps my last post was not clear.
    When the heat or air conditioning is turned on air flows out of vents on the dashboard. My 550's vents all function except the one on far right side - no air flow. Any suggestions will be appreciated

    Same with mine. I'd like to hear, too. (I assume there's an issue with a vane controlled by vacuum?)

    I would guess that that's probably on the right track.
    There is a plastic duct that is attached to the underside of the dash that serves the two outside ducts as well as one for the defrost. The side vents fit into that duct and are connected with rubber tubing. Attached is a picture of the plastic duct work, your tubing may not be connected (part 38 both sides.) (Edit - pictures are from a 456, but same idea.)
