The pollution made my missus very sick and she was in bed during the Shanghi time to get well enough to fly home.

I wanna go back, I loved the place, people very friendly and helpful.

I spent all day today connected to a laptop on a router in Guangzhou getting the VPN changed from dynamic to static ... should have taken 10 mins but the laptop on site was in Chinese so I was guessing the characters

If you have the time,and the inclination, saute the onions in a bit of coca cola and then reduce the liquid until the onions are nice and brown, and the liquid is basically gone. I know, sounds, um, different, but I'm telling you, it makes the best onions for a burger on the planet.

You know what drives me utterly ****ing bonkers is the media bull**** interpretation of events. It's no wonder the average fool has no idea.

On tonight's news the headline and the newsreader said multiple times:

"Trump rally turns violent".

WTF?

It wasn't a Trump rally that turned violent, it was an ANTI-Trump rally.
Big difference.
