    A number of companies have been trying this Firebird resurrection since the last Gen Camaro was introduced. They don't look any better today than they did previously.

    I guess they keep trying to turn Camaro into Pontiacs, had totally forgotten the 'GTO' conversion

    I don't get the GTO version. Wrong body all together.

    The "77" Trans Am version is reasonably cool for a car based off the new Camaro. Given the throwbackish design of the Camaro, it even makes sense that such would be what a "new" Trans Am would look like. Still, I don't much care for the new Camaro, so...

    the whole premise of trying to turn the Camaro into a Firebird is so wrong for me, but i'll defer my judgement to you the customer ;)

    I believe it is the real world photo and two tone paint scheme (silver/black) in post #1578 that makes the conversion look so bad. The professional photos (camera angles) in the link speak a lot better for the finished product. Now it appears that the rear end is what is gross.

    Several of these companies approached the retired Chief Designer of the Firebird Studio to 'help' them with their designs..............he refused all of them.

    I'm not able to print his response to their requests :eek:
