I purchased this car in late 2015 from the previous long-term owner (he bought it in the early 90's). As far as I can tell it has been in California its entire life. I had it brought current on service right away. The major service, as well as a lot of little items, was completed by San Francisco Motorsports in January of 2016. Overall, the car is very presentable, but completely original. It has been by far my most reliable Ferrari and is the most comfortable and convenient to use. I'm selling because I'm semi-retiring and know that I won't have the budget to maintain this car properly. Please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer.

    - 34,654 miles
    - original paint throughout (checked with meter)
    - excellent interior
    - major service January 2016
    - original books, tool roll, tools, car cover

    Issues:
    - tires are old
    - small dings and chips consistent with age
    - sunroof and antenna not functioning

    Asking $40,000

Fine looking example! (disclaimer: have my own 87 coupe as well. Not connected to seller. But these are great cars). There have been F-chatters looking for 3.2 coupes of late. Hopefully, someone here will be able to take this beauty home. GLWS!

Picked up the mondial from Hudson this morning and driving it back all the way to Las Vegas.
I have to admit this is one of the purest, unmolested 3.2's I have ever seen. Ashtray is mint, original keys unused, tool kits still in plastic, this is a national treasure in the mondial world and I am honored to own it. I will post photos next week upon my return. Thank you Hudson, you are a gentleman.

Thanks Temple. Yes, I am on day 3 driving it back for its 900 mile journey. So far 500 trouble free miles, a few typical quirks like steering column stalk issues, rev counter weak, and gas door switch inop but overall a really good "virgin", unmolested original car. It drives wonderfully well, stays straight as an arrow at speed, no overheating issues, and does just about everything right like a 328 should. I almost went back to my qv before buying this one and I am glad I made the right choice, as this will be my daily driver. Now that I know it will be one of my pillars I will update the wheels since the tires are old anyway and maybe change the muffler to a nice shiny one. That's a lot of car for the money in my opinion.

    Nice Car.
How would you say the 3.2 is different from a 1983 QV?
    Aside of the obvious aesthetics.

I've owned a few QV's, so I would say the 3.2 is a bit more refined overall as far as user friendliness, a little "easier" to drive and also a little more reliable, that is why the 3.2 is known as the best example of all, not to take away anything from the QV's, they are a joy to drive also.
